普段インストールを極力しないのですが、せっかくなので、iLifeをアップデートしてみました。表面上はあまり変わらないのですが、非常に困ったことにウェブ上で画像のアップロードができなくなってしまいました。

「ピクチャ」フォルダを見ても、iPhoto Libraryという巨大ファイルが見えるだけです。どうやら、これは「パッケージ」という仮想ファイルみたいなものらしいですが、Finderではcontrol+クリックで中身へアクセスできるものの、ウェブフォームからファイル選択する場合はcontrol+クリックで何も起こりません。

というわけで、Mac上からウェブ上に画像をアップできなくなって非常に困っております。誰か解決方法ご存知の方いないでしょうか？

P.S.こういうことがあるので、インストールはしたくないのですが。。。当分無用なインストールは避けようと思います。

iPhoto上で写真を選択してデスクトップにドラッグアンドドロップ後、当該ファイルをアップロードするか、ファイルメニューの書き出しでファイルを作成後にアップロードするのではどうでしょうか？

iPhotoはiTunesと同じく中のファイルをデータベース化しているので他のアプリケーションなどから直接ファイルにさわるなって事なんでしょう。
他で使いたい場合はMaverickさんがおっしゃっているように一旦iPhotoから切り離すしか無さそうです。その考え方から「共有」メニューが出来たんだと思います。iTunesもそのうちこうなっちゃうかもしれませんね。

iPhotoダウングレードってできるんでしょうか。でも、最初にiPhotoをインストールした時に、「データ形式を変換します。元に戻せません」って言われてたなぁ。まぁ普通にオリジナルファイルを読み込ませればいいんでしょうけども。

iPhoto Libraryの中のフォルダのエイリアス（Windowsでいうところのショートカット）を適当な場所に作成する方法もあります。
ブラウザからは、そのフォルダのエイリアスを指定しては？

（commandとoptionを押しながらフォルダをドラッグするとエイリアスが作成可能です。）
