Yahoo!ニュースでリンクされたサイトが落ちてることがよくありますが、どうやら落ちたらキャプチャを表示してくれるようになったみたいです。しかし、サイト運営者からするとせっかく載っても、サイトが落ちたら全然来てくれないということに。。

いや、むしろ、前向きに考えたい。
誰にとっても損はないので、良い措置だと思いますよ。
「サイトが落ちたのに内容は見てもらえる」わけで。

Yahoo!ニュースの措置がなければ501,503,404,タイムアウトなどの表示しか出ない。サイト運営者と訪問者の両方に損。

ちなみにこの措置、いつから実施されていたんでしょうね？

7月16日時点では確認していました。（「おぉヤフー偉い」と思ってキャプチャを）

ほー、結構前からやってたのね。

ちょっと気になったのは、いったん落ちたとして、がんばって復旧したんだけど、ずっとキャプチャが表示されてたら嫌だなと思ったんですよね。
