年賀状ソフト「筆王」のサムシンググッド、「ページメーカー」のアルダス（現アドビ）そしてウェブマネーなどの創業者（シリアル・アントレプレナーですね）の坂本氏が経営について語った本。よくありがちの経営本とは違い、創業経営者の実践的な考え方がストレートに出ていて、非常に勉強になりました。

例えば、リーダーとリーダーの上に立つメタリーダーの違いでは、リーダーは優秀である必要があるが、メタリーダーはその必要はなく、リーダーにいかに気持ちよく仕事をしてもらうかが重要であると言います。

他にも、「焼き鳥屋かラーメン屋で迷うな」「調べるな考えよ」「まじめで勤勉だと成功が遠ざかる」「1本筋の通った人は失敗する」「ヒットしたら値段をあげろ」「小さい会社の方が勝つ」「負けも商売のネタにできる」など一見常識から外れた話が、自らの例をあげて説明してあります。
