マネックス証券創業者の松本大氏の仕事術本。さくっと読めますが、身につまされる話が多くて非常におもしろく勉強になりました（下部に抜粋しておきます）。松本氏は超一流のビジネスマンであると思います。

一方で、新しいものを生み出す例としてあげられていたのが、アービトラージ（裁定取引）と元上司の立ち上げたLTCMというのにはちょっとがっくりしました。マネックス証券の理念でもある「日本の資本市場をよくする」、というのはアービトラージ的な意味であり、「何かを創造する」とはだいぶ違うのだろうなと思いました。「ビジネスとアートとは、対極の関係にあると私は思います」とも書かれています。

個人的には、アービトラージではないアートとビジネスの狭間を考えて行きたいと思いました。

・（何か新しいことをやる時にメールで意見をもらうようにしたが、徐々に少なくなってきたので、期限を作るようにした。しかし、それでも来なくなってしまった。また、あるMTGが閉鎖的で見えづらいという意見があり、議事録をメールで送るようにした。しばらくすると書いてある内容と重複する質問が来るようになった）これを社員の怠慢と位置づけるつもりは、まったくありません。ニーチェ曰く「人間は慣れる動物である」だからです（中略）常にメンテナンスを繰り返し、コミュニケーションを維持できるよう、普段の努力、工夫を積み重ね、次の手を考え続ける必要があります。まさに「コミュニケーションに王道なし」なのです。
・会議で心がけているのは、会議を終わった後の意見は聞かないということです（中略）そうしないと、いつでも後から言えるとか、皆の前で発言するのは恥ずかしいとか、誰も会議で発言しなくなってしまうからです。
・野茂選手や中田選手が経験したであろう苦労を考えれば、やはり先駆者である2人の価値は、後の人たちとは、比べるべくもないほどに光っています。
・誰も無駄な仕事をしているとは思いたくありませんし、会社のことをきちんと思っているひとほど、自分の今している仕事に責任感を強く持って望むので、すべての仕事を取りこぼしなく遂行しようという気持ちが強く働くはずです。でも、それではいけません。自ら積極的に無駄な仕事を見つけ、ストップさせなければならないのです。
