桶川で女子大生がストーカーによって殺害された事件を追った元FOCUS記者のドキュメンタリー。真実は小説よりも奇なりという言葉通り、次々と明らかになる事実がドラマチックでものすごいよくできた物語のように思えてしまうくらいのドキュメンタリーになっています。記者という職業やスクープの裏側が知れてよかったのですが、それよりも警察の対応に頭にきます。この事件によって、ストーカー法ができたというのも納得。一人の記者が徐々に事件に深く関わって行く様も興味深いです。
