不況下こそチャレンジを。客員起業家 尾藤正人の挑戦 − ＠IT自分戦略研究所

いま、僕はピー・アンド・エー・ラボに所属していて、EIR（Entrepreneur in Residence／客員起業家）として活動しています。これは、企業から給料をもらいながら起業の準備をするという制度。日本ではまだ、ほとんど普及していません。シリコンバレーでは多いそうですが。

ウノウCTOだった尾藤（僕はマサトと呼んでるので、以下マサトと書きます）がEIRで起業に挑戦してます。EIR（Entrepreneur in Residence／客員起業家）は日本ではほとんど聞かれないですが、個人的にはエンジニアの起業にはとても向いているのではないかと思っていました。今回、こういう形で先例を作っていくのがとてもマサトらしい。

元々、まったく偶然サンフランシスコで出会ってから、一緒に帰国してきて、5年近く一緒に仕事をできてすごく楽しかったし、今ウノウが素晴らしいエンジニアで満ちあふれているのはマサトのおかげだと思うし、本当に感謝しています。

ピー・アンド・エー・ラボの吉田さんは僕が楽天にいた時からお世話になっていて、ウノウの社外取締役でもあります。だから、まだまだ身内の感覚が強いです。何か一緒にできたらいいなとも思っています。

マサトには、個人的にも、EIRのいい先例としても、ぜひ大成功して欲しいです。
